Each ritual carries its own scent profile—layered and evocative, and paired with Scripture. Explore the moments below.
Primary Verse
“Behold, the servant of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word.” — Luke 1:38
The Moment
A quiet room. Bread beneath her hands. The familiar rhythms of an ordinary day are suddenly interrupted by a greeting full of grace. Mary does not yet know what obedience will require. Her yes becomes the doorway of the Lord.
Fragrance Notes
Balady citron, pistachio, warm grain, soft vanilla, and the brightness of sunlight entering a still room.
Primary Verse
“He has put down princes from their thrones, and has exalted the lowly.” — Luke 1:52
The Moment
Two women meet in wonder, and praise rises before either of them can see how the story will end. Mary sings of a God who sees the lowly, fills the hungry, brings down the proud, and remembers His promises. Her joy is not rooted in ease, but in the faithfulness of God.
Fragrance Notes
Soft pink blossoms, fresh green stems, delicate steeping herbs, and gentle warmth—the scent of skin flushed with song.
Primary Verse
“She gave birth to her firstborn son… and laid him in a feeding trough.” — Luke 2:7
The Moment
The promised King arrives without palace, ceremony, or acclaim. Wood, hay, shelter, warmth: the ordinary holds the extraordinary. Glory enters the world in humility, and the manger quietly overturns every human measure of importance.
Fragrance Notes
Aleppo pine, cedarwood, dry hay, warm milk, soft sweetness, and the lingering scent of wood and wonder.
Primary Verse
“Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be to all people.” — Luke 2:10
The Moment
Night settles over the pasture. A small fire burns against the cold while the shepherds keep watch. Then heaven tears open in light. Fear becomes wonder, wonder becomes action, and the men who were watching sheep leave the fire behind to become witnesses.
Fragrance Notes
Charred wood, glowing embers, pasture grass, wool, resinous smoke, and cool night air suddenly filled with light.
Primary Verse
“behold, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them until it came and stood over where the young child was.” — Matthew 2:9
The Moment
A star has drawn them across distance, uncertainty, and unfamiliar roads. They keep following until the journey ends not before a throne, but before a child. They kneel. They open their treasures. And after encountering Him, they return home by another way.
Fragrance Notes
Cool starlit night air, worn leather, dry wood, road dust, pale night-blooming flowers, and the hush of worship at journey’s end.
